REMADE IN SWITZERLAND! Where else...

I recently came across this exciting Swiss brand, designed by the young British designer Christopher Raeburn teamed with Victorinox, who have made a collection from deconstructing existing military items, like parachutes, to then create new garments. The whole concept is about reusing surplus materials, whether spare fabric or over-produced garments. To add to the story, Christopher located the original building where the founder of the company, Victorinox, began production in the late 1800s. Take a look at the video above of the journey of the products' production, note that the locations are in beautifully distressed rooms, a perfect match for uniting old with new. I love the little movie, it's pretty genius, as are the garments. I think we should all take note of the amazing REMADE IN SWITZERLAND and think of ways in our own lives that we can reuse to make something extraordinary...
