Picnics Galore...

Summer is in full swing and there's nothing better than a nice relaxing day in the sun on the common, with a chilled beverage, picnic and lovely company! The Stylist (a new-ish free London magazine) published a delightful 5 page article this week called 'The Art of the Perfect Picnic'. It suggests quirky places to have your picnic, yummy treats to make and even a selection of pre-made hampers to buy - for those who want a little luxury. This summer I'm going to try to be more spontaneous, planning last minute mini adventures, picnics, you name it, I'll try it (to a degree)! I've had a trawl on the web to find some lovely picnic essentials. My two personal favourites, Lorina Pink Lemonade, delish, and the very kooky 'Picnic Loaf' (found by The Stylist), which is stuffed with vegetables, boiled eggs, homemade herb mayonnaise and of course, a loaf of bread. In the act of spontaneity, I challenge everyone to bite the bullet and go for a picnic! Enjoy...

England Fever...

England v Algeria kicks off tonight at 7.30pm, are you in?
Tonight is our second match and world cup fever is officially a gogo! From an array of car flags swarming the streets to vuvuzelas blasting away before, during and after the matches, to even an iPhone vuvuzela app, where you can play the sound wherever you go (y'know, in case you haven't heard it quite enough). To get you feeling patriotic and to join in with the fever, I've found some cute Union Jack accessories to dress up your home. Hope everyone enjoys the match :) Come on England...

Bienvenue...

Welcome to my very first blog!
So where to start... I have so many bits of paper all around with events, new bands, clothing and photographs on them. They end up either left around my room, squished in my bag, or worst of all, thrown away. Sometimes the lonely little pieces of paper get neglected for so long that I can't even remember why I bothered scribbling the note down, ripping it out from a newspaper or the event is long out of date. So I have decided to set up one of these as a way of collating all of the little things I see each day. Whether it's from the internet, a magazine or on my travels. Please keep coming back to see what I'll upload next!
Hope you're having a lovely day :)
